The Photographer
My name is Hui. I am a photographer and hold a Graduate Diploma in Photography.
I discovered my passion for photography in my early 20s, drawn to landscapes as a way to capture the natural beauty of the world. Over time, photography became not just a creative outlet, but a way of learning to notice the subtle light, form and emotion in everyday moments.
I have won multiple Australian club, state and national photography competitions and have been a president of a local camera club.
Though I continue to excel in landscape and monochrome photography, I am now expanding my territory into portrait photography. I am particularly interested in environmental portraits that tell authentic human stories and reflect the connection between people and their surroundings.
